1Samsung Notebook 9 Pen Delivers Intel Core i7 CPU Power in Hybrid Case
Nearly all studies on the state of the notebook market show that consumers and enterprise buyers are buying more hybrid notebooks. The two-in-one PC that combine the features of laptops and tablets provide flexibility for use at home, in the office and on the road, generally come with lower prices than desktops and most larger laptop models. Samsung followed that trend with the Dec. 13 introduction of a new Windows 10 hybrid models it’s calling the Notebook 9 Pen. Samsung will display the new hybrid that supports the company’s S Pen Stylus at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018 in January and go on sale during the first quarter. Samsung is also calling out the Notebook 9 Pen’s “durable” magnesium alloy case as well as some impressive security features. Read on to learn more.

The Notebook 9 Pen is powered by Intel’s eighth-generation Core i7 processor. That should be enough power for this lightweight notebook to allow users to run sophisticated business or personal productivity apps with ease. It also means that this Samsung model will be in no danger of being outclassed in terms of processing power for at least the next several years.

Samsung said the Notebook 9 Pen comes with a variety of features designed to boost productivity and collaboration. Samsung Link Sharing, for instance, allows for the transfer of content from the computer to another machine or smart device. The computer also comes with Voice Note for voice-activated note-taking and Studio Plus for custom content creation, Samsung said.
11Notebook 9 Pen Will Start Shipping in Q1
Samsung said that it will begin shipping the Notebook 9 Pen in Korea starting in December. The hybrid is scheduled to go on sale in the U.S. during the 2018 first quarter. Samsung has yet to announce U.S. pricing for this model.
